IM PROPERTIES HOSTS ITS FIRST MEET THE BUYER EVENT FOR PEDDIMORE

As part of the buy local focus at Peddimore, a number of ‘Meet the Buyer’ events will be hosted in order to introduce local businesses to live project opportunities. The first Meet The Buyer event took place on 2nd May 2019 at the Council House in Birmingham with over 140 attendees. It was an opportunity to introduce the vision for the scheme, open up conversations with local businesses and for companies to meet the project’s procurement team alongside a number of service suppliers.

The event included a presentation led by UK development director Kevin Ashfield alongside Planning director David Smith, which set out the vision for Peddimore and aim to create an economic asset for the region. It was then followed by networking and a supporting exhibition, with ten exhibitors from IMs supply chain, charity partners, and BCC EAT team. The next meet the buyer event will take place one a principle contractor has been appointed.
