Site clearance work and archaeological investigations continue at Peddimore
Site preparation work including further minor vegetation clearance is continuing to take place across the Peddimore site.
The current phase of activity involves some necessary grass cutting and scrub clearance, as well as the digging of some trial holes that had to be paused previously in the winter due to poor weather.
In addition, from week commencing 26 April a specialist archaeology contractor will be returning to site to complete a programme of archaeological investigative work.
This work will be carried out on land adjacent to Peddimore Lane and will involve the excavation of some trial trenches.
Should any significant finds be made, the project team will share information with the public where appropriate.
All of IM Properties’ appointed contractors will continue to work to ensure any disruption to local residents is minimised.
This small programme of site preparation work is taking place prior to the start of the project’s main infrastructure and landscaping works, which is scheduled to begin this summer.
